About

My name is Alexa Young

Gianmarco Cellini is an Italian-Belgian musician and multidisciplinary artist. He has evolved from an international touring DJ into a creator of artistic projects that bring together music, heritage and identity. His practice is rooted in research into traditions and the cultural heritage of the Belgian miner communities. Through his multidisciplinary project CARBONE, he brought the stories of miners and their descendants to life through a combination of documentary film and live music. With his debut album ANEMOIA, he explored his nostalgia for a place and time he had never experienced himself.
